Some sessions just flow, and this sweet newborn session was one of them. From the moment this family arrived, the room filled with that quiet, happy glow that only comes with a brand-new baby.

And this baby! Tiny fingers, the softest cheeks and the sleepiest little stretches. We got so lucky, too: baby gave us smile after smile, which is such a rare treat at this age. It was such a joy to spend the morning capturing these first precious days.

Mom and Dad wanted their gallery to feel natural and relaxed, so we focused mostly on lifestyle images. We built the session around connection: Dad cradling baby against his chest, Mom smelling baby, a few shots using their hands and all three of them snuggled together in soft light.

We added a few soft wraps and simple props for variety, but the star of the show was the knitted outfit the family brought along. A special piece like this carries so much meaning, and paired with creamy blankets and gentle light, it gave these images a timeless, heirloom feel.
